Thanks for this post! I am a brand new blogger. Like… I’m trying to figure out what time to publish my very first post! Eek! I’m an over researcher, and a little bit of a perfectionist. Looked up abunch of stuff on what to include in my first post, and i feel fairly confident about what I got but now I need to stop procrastinating the posting part! Since I already missed the ball on Monday morning, we are gonna test out the Tuesday morning route.

Does posting time matter if you’re publishing every day? I almost think worrying about the time may be counter-productive to making sure you get new content out every day.

Because you can always repost your content on social, sms feeds, etc that it make make more sense to publish your content as it comes out, or with a content calendar, then pick scheduling times.

There’s no best time to publish a blog . It just depend on your audience, they can be free anytime. or they can free their time to read your blog. Create a blog that users take out time to read.

In reply to Lisa Sicard. Thanks for sharing your best publishing times, Lisa. Perhaps people have no more capacity for reading blogs and social by Friday afternoon? Or it could just be that Friday feeling? Yes, I guess the weekend could work well if you happen to publish a topic that interests and catches readers at that time. It's definitely worth tracking your publishing times and keeping a record to see what works best over time. Let us know how you get on.

Thanks for this one. I’m trying to post a little later as I’m used to publishing around 5-7 am EST and I’m trying to wait now til 7-9 am. I’ve always noticed that everything online seems to drop around 3 pm on Fridays. Traffic on social and blogs seem to dive every Friday.
Sometimes traffic can spike on the weekends. Thanks for your tips on the plugin too 🙂
