In reply to Erica. Hi Erica, it's not possible to sign up for WordPress.com via Bluehost, as WordPress.com is its own separate platform. When you sign up for Bluehost, they will automatically provide you with a WordPress.org login for your website. I hope that clears everything up!

I was following along with your guide for how to start a blog in 2023 and got linked back to this article. However, when I signed up through Bluehost using your link, it automatically gave me a wordpress.com login. According to your article about starting a blog in 2023 you recommended wordpress.org over wordpress.com. Did I do something wrong or miss a step somewhere?
